PoC Topics are specific areas, often linked to a Work Item, where input or feedback from the AFI Proofs of Concept is needed. AFI PoC Topics help to focus PoC Projects on the most relevant topics for TC NTECH/AFI, and to increase the relevance of their contributions.<br />

NTECH/AFI PoC Topics are identified and documented by NTECH AFI WG. NTECH/AFI PoC Topics may include templates for the PoC Contributions and deadlines to ensure that the PoC Contributions arrive on-time to be taken into account by the targeted WIs.<br />

For each PoC Topic addressed, one or several Test Descriptions should be provided.<br />

= Feeding back the results = <br />
As soon as experimental results relevant for a given NTECH/AFI PoC Topic are available (no need to wait for the PoC Project to be completed), the PoC Team creates a contribution and informs the NTECH AFI WG by email (if the PoC Topic had a specific template for feedback contributions, it should be used). PoC Teams are also encouraged to contribute additional results and lessons learned during the PoC Project to the NTECH AFI WG.<br />

= Acceptance Criteria =<br />
The PoC Proposals shall fulfill the following acceptance criteria:<br />
* The PoC Proposal will follow the PoC Proposal Template<br />
* The PoC Team will have at a minimum 3 different organizations:<br />
** at least one network operator;<br />
** at least two vendors<br />
* The PoC Point of Contact will be an NTECH AFI WG Participant.<br />
* The PoC Proposal will address at least one of the PoC topics listed on the Wiki.<br />
* The PoC Proposal will commit for a demonstration of the PoC at a public event, e.g. Public Exhibition, NTECH meeting, a related conference, or other events<br />

PoC Teams are also encouraged to contribute additional results and lessons learned during the PoC Project to the NTECH AFI WG.<br />

The ETSI AFI PoCs are an opportunity to bring together potential “Consumers” of GANA Framework in the Industry space such as - Developers of Software Components for autonomics, ISVs (Independent Software Vendors), OSS vendors, Traditional networking equipment vendors, Network Operators in their potential position as Software Companies to demonstrate and showcase GANA implementations and articulation with reference models for existing reference architectures as well as the other emerging complementary networking paradigms of NFV, SDN.
